Mike never played for the team due his late transfer to SVC even though he had some hockey experience.  He became a strong off ice administrator and stayed with the club several years after graduation in various capacities.  He eventually assumed the position of Director for the Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Hockey Association (WPIHA) and managed the league for more than 15 years.
