A four year player at St. Vincent, “Hutch” was also the team treasurer for three years. His on ice work ethic was recognized by his fellow team members with his election to the Assistant Captain role in his final year. Even though he did not score much, Hutch had a decent shot and played his position extremely well.  He had a great poke check and was often used to kill penalties.  One of his best defensive plays was turned into a shorthanded game winning goal against Thiel College in his Senior Year.  Was a regular on the 1976-1977 Championship team.
