Each era of St. Vincent Ice Hockey has had one player that stood out from the rest.  Lenny Hohenfeld can be counted in that group. He scored an uncommon number of goals in a time period when defense reigned and goalies were kings.  Serving as the Captain during both his Junior and Senior years, his fiery style and overpowering slap shot made him one of the great on ice figures in the history of the sport at the school.  He deserves consideration as one of the best right wingers in the college league of that time period.  Even without complete statistics from all 4 years that he played, he still ranks high on the all time scoring list.
