Career Highlights:

Higgins, Mark

C’79

Mark may have been one of the best all around athletes to ever lace up the skates at St. Vincent.  Unfortunately, injuries severely limited his playing time during his Freshman and Senior years and he spent part of his Junior year studying abroad.  Mark had great hands, a solid shot, and a tremendous on ice work ethic that made him a complete two way player.  His presence in the line up made a significant difference in the team’s ability to work as a unit.  He was a relentless fore checker and back checker and made anyone with whom he played better at their game.  He was extremely instrumental in the team’s success during both the 1976-1977 Championship year as well as the 1978-1979 WPIHA Division II Title squad.
