Gueverra, Pete

Pete was noted for being a tireless worker when on the ice.  He actually used his size to his advantage by darting in and out of openings to get open for passes or quick shots on goal.  He is noted for scoring the now infamous disputed goal of a 7-7 tie between the alumni and the students in one of the matches.  After graduation he suited up for the Neville Ice Arena Team along with fellow Polar Bearcats Mike Ziemianski and Charlie Flynn and played on two Pittsburgh Adult League championship teams with that group.
