Godon, Claude

Claude coached the team during its championship season of 1976-1977 when St. Vincent was listed in the American College Hockey Guide book as one of the highest scoring club team’s in the nation, averaging 8 goals per game.  Claude played Junior hockey in Canada and was the defensive partner of NHL player J.C. Tremblay.  Claude dressed in one game for the Polar Bearcats to take care of some business against IUP tough man Todd Bunning.  Claude was a former lumberjack in Canada and worked as a telephone lineman.
