Career Highlights:

Glinka, Ken

C’76

Ken was a real workhorse in goal for the Polar Bearcats throughout his playing career.  “Soda” played in more games than any other goalie in the history of the team and when he graduated he held most of the longevity records for games and minutes played and still holds the all time career marks for shots against and saves. Not only was he a key to the program, he worked diligently to support the team off ice as well.  The roommate of Rich Grochmal, Ken eventually returned to his home on Long Island and became a Pharmacist.  He has remained active in hockey by participating in alumni contests and working with the New York Islanders in annual charity games.  He eventually gave up goaltending, however, and finally showed the forwards of his era how to score on breakaways during alumni games.
