Dave was a key player for the Polar Bearcats in all 4 seasons.  He had an up tempo skating style that enabled him to create scoring opportunities by quickly breaking into open ice and finding seams in which he could receive passes from his line mates.  His consistent efforts earned him a spot on the top line during his senior season when he averaged more than a point per game while holding down a key defensive role on the high scoring DeFelice-Vance-Donatelli line. Since graduation he has remained active in hockey as a key member of the Western Pennsylvania Hockey Officials Association and has been associated with the Pittsburgh Penguins as Team Dentist.  His highlights include being involved in the locker room celebrations during the Penguin’s Stanley Cup victories.
