Career Highlights:

Dobos, John

C 03

John was not only a solid player, he had a demonstrated ability to lead others and was one of the Assistant Captains during his tenure with the SVC Polar Bearcat hockey program.  John had good size, would drive to the net, and had the ability to finish plays.  He was also strong in his defensive zone making him one of the best two way players during the 2000 through 2002 seasons. His 29.8% shooting percentage is one of the highest ever obtained by a regular player in the school’s history.  He starred for the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings high school team and continued that role with St. Vincent as he was named to play in the 2000-2001 Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Hockey League All Star game.  After attending St. Vincent, John completed an Associates Degree at CCAC.
