Dave played the first semester of the 2001-2002 season. Hailing from New Jersey, Dave became one of the steadiest defenseman on the team. He had good sense with the puck, was seldom out of position and was one of the better 1:1 defenseman. He effectively cleared the net and was able to create chaos in the attacking zone by quickly sending the puck to the net on wrist and slap shots. He was one of the big reasons why SVC was able to sustain a long winning streak during much of the middle part of the campaign |
