Career Highlights:

DeFelice, Roland

C’77

One of the team’s all time leaders in points, Roland was a constant offensive threat.  He had great hands and an uncanny ability to pick apart goalies.  Not only was he able to score, his ability to pass made him an outstanding playmaker as well.  His greatest assets were his quickness and positioning.  Darting into open ice or sneaking to the far post for tap in goals were patented moves that became famous during his playing days.  In spite of not playing his Freshman year due to a commitment to a Westmoreland Amateur Midget team, he still ranks today as one of the all time leaders in goals and assists.  A 3 time Assistant Captain, he once scored two short handed goals in a game vs. Pitt, and had a 10 point game vs. CCAC with 3 goals and 7 assists.  He briefly helped to coach the team the year following graduation.  His older brother Bob saw some playing action at the school and his younger brother Kevin, also an outstanding player attended SVC during the years in which the College did not field a team.
