D’Incau, Dave C 09 |
There may never have been or ever will be a player who was quicker and more agile on his skates as Dave. His toughness and grit were far beyond his size and he had an absolutely incredible ability to control the puck down low in the zone. He played with a signature level of intensity and would wear out opposing defenders with his elusive deke and duck moves. His style made him extremely valuable on the penalty kill and also earned him power play time. At times pugnacious, he was instrumental in a big win over Hofstra when he tussled with their leading scorer. Strategically Coach Ziemianski argued for a fighting penalty had although it meant that Dave was gone for the match, it eliminated the top Hofstra threat and SVC went on to a victory. With a passion for drawing, Dave transferred to an Art school in the South after his freshman year but made occasional appearances at practices when he cam home for breaks. |
