Career Highlights:

Brunetta, Denny C’75

Denny surprised opponents with his hard hitting style, even though he was one of the smaller players on the team during the years he played.  Always a hard worker on the ice, he was an excellent checking center who excelled at winning face offs. He scored a game winning goal against Penn State McKeesport during the last minute of a game his junior year.  During the 1972-1973 championship game vs. Pitt, Denny hit the post during the overtime period, coming within a half inch of winning the team’s first league championship.  He is now an Assistant Coach for the current team and worked the bench in Arizona and Pittsburgh when the team had two consecutive 11’th place national rankings at the ACHA D III level.
