Career Highlights:

Boone, Jason

C’03

A large strong forward, Jason was tough in the corners and very difficult to move from the front of opposing team’s nets.  His hard work and dedication in the early year’s of the team earned him the role of an Assistant Captain.  Unfortunately, he never fully recovered from a knee injury sustained late in his Junior year and after several attempts to make a comeback during his senior season, he was unable to regain his old form and made the decision to stop playing.  Jason started his hockey career with the Fayette Firebirds Amateur Association and was a charter member of the St. Vincent team when it restarted in the 1999 – 2000 campaign.  Although he mostly played wing, his strength and hands also made him valuable at center.  As one of the taller players, he used his reach to effectively kill penalties, cycle the puck in the attack zone and drive hard to the net.
