All Time Stats

Except for three seasons covering the 1979-1980 through 1981-1982 campaigns, scoring records were available in various forms and from a wide variety of sources.  Less complete records existed for the first few years of the team and only statistics that could be validated from old score sheets and newspaper articles were included.  Players from the early teams may only have goals recorded and games played. 

The game also changed over the years and this most affected the statistics of goaltenders.  The first decade plus consisted of games that were played with three 15 minute periods, though occasionally some 20 minute period games were scheduled and played.  The second rebirth in 1999-2000 had contests with 17 minute periods.  ACHA Division III switched to 20 minute periods after 2003-2004, but some 17 minute periods were still on the books.  As much as feasible, goals against averages have been normalized to account for these variations and adjusted to a minutes played methodology yielding a true goals against average corresponding reasonably well to the basic time period in which each net minder played between the pipes.
